Consistency
It’s something we would all love to have,
Consistent revenue coming in,
A consistent flow of leads,
A consistent team of sales people,
A consistent business that has the potential to grow,
But for a lot of business owners that is all a dream, something that they don’t think is possible,
We have got to the point where we don’t think we can ever do it,
There are not enough hours in the day and there’s actually a small part of us that just believes this is how running a business should be,
Stop and start,
Coming and going,
Good months and bad months,
and in the beginning, while you’re finding your feet then ye, that probably is the case but as time goes on, we have to have things in place to allow us to grow otherwise we are literally on that hamster wheel, running as fast as we can but getting absolutely no where,
So here are our 3 biggest tips to help you get consistency, at a time when you think it’s impossible,
1 – Re engage
Once a week, open back up conversations with old clients or leads,
Drop them a message, email or give them a ring and check in with how they are, maybe their contact has changed so you can open up a connection with them,
Old clients know all about you and what you do, so we have to be in consistent contact with them, you’ll be surprised how many would be keen to hear about your new offers or services,
2 – Follow up
This is business 101,
You must have a follow up service, if someone doesn’t answer then leave a message telling them you’ll call again tomorrow,
If someone doesn’t email back, try again in a few days time,
The fortune is always in the follow up, so many businesses miss out on big clients signing up because they simply don’t follow up with them,
This can be done manually depending on the size of your team but just like point 1, schedule time once a week to follow up with all leads that haven’t been in contact with you.
3 – Connect with current clients
This isn’t done nearly enough with businesses, now this will depend on the service you offer but if it’s a membership or monthly based service then you have to be in contact with them,
Whether it’s a check in every now and again or an email asking if they have any questions or even better a phone call,
It looks amazing to your current clients as they haven’t just signed up and been forgotten and one of the biggest things that can build your business is referrals and retentions,
This means, looking after your current clients,
Again have time once every couple of weeks where you check in with all clients to see how they are getting on and offer any help you can,
For them, that is an extra touch they weren’t expecting as it’s something a lot of businesses don’t do and secondly, it makes your business look top of the tree.
Are you doing all or any of these in your business ?
If not, then it’s time to start,
In the beginning, it can be daunting to get started but with these simple systems in place, they can make the world of difference to your business consistency,
If you have any questions on the above or would like any help getting this setup, then drop me a message, and let’s see how we can help.
